Introduction
Welcome to my Portfolium! As you explore this page, you will find five artifacts of various papers I have written during my three years at the University of Maryland. I am an Economics student, curious and passionate about market dynamics and researching the causes behind various economic phenomena. Much of my work showcases my written analysis of energy, labor, and financial markets. Specifically, I have researched the future of cleaner energy in the electric vehicle market. I have also researched the downsides of producing the materials that go into electric batteries. I have written evaluative and causal papers on the issues of the state of the entry-level labor market. As a financial intern for a nearby advisory firm, I have reported different personal and index stock performances and related news to partners.
I made this portfolio to highlight my favorite written pieces that cover topics I am passionate about and excited about. This portfolio represents me, my interests, and my career goals as I have chosen to share papers where I have expressed my opinion, discussed a topic that is important to me, and emphasized my competency to research economic issues. Going from here, I hope to use my last year of college to use the skills I have learned writing these papers and apply them to other projects. Going past graduation, I hope this portfolio serves as a tool to show future employers how my interests and skills may align with their mission.
